Following the advice of Paul Klee in ‘Taking a Line for a Walk’, paying attention to where the line wants to go, and what colour or tone it can become. Making continuous line drawings.
This workshop was based on continuous line drawing and Automatic drawing. The students focused on layering: building up layers of paint using continuous lines. Their starting point was various objects and parts of the human figure.
